I'm so thankful for the good fortune in our lives, especially when it comes to early childhood education for the Moses kidlets. LouAnne Sather has been a godsend, having both of the kids every day starting when they were 10 and 12 weeks old. When they were babies, LouAnne was an experienced mother, grandmother, and care provider I could get inspiration and advice from, and -- most importantly -- she has a gift for sharing her wisdom in ways that still supported me and my instincts as a new mom.
I wrote last year about her conversion to a nature preschool, Wandering Roots. It is a treasure of a place, filled with everything I could want for my kids. This collection of pictures is a snapshot of Alex's second year at Wandering Roots, his final year here before kindergarten. I could write novels about the stories, but will try to let the pictures speak for themselves, with a few captions to provide guideposts ...
